Schole Admission Policy

IB Philosophy

The International Baccalaureate® aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

Schole Philosophy

Our philosophy is to create and exist in a community dedicated to nurturing courageous, creative and independent learners that embrace all aspects of life and education with exuberance.
We believe that we prepare such individuals as lifelong learners through critical analysis and ongoing assessments.

Schole Mission

At Schole, we believe that it is our duty to deliver a holistic and nurturing education that results in courageous, compassionate and responsible life-long learners.
We aim to create a community of global citizens that respect all view points, practice tolerance and embrace diversity.

Philosophy for admission

Schole International Academy (SIA) is an authorized school for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB-PYP). SIA is an inclusive school and accepts enrollments of all students. Students are selected for admission to school on the basis of the age chart, previous academic record and their readiness for the school’s programmmes.

Students are admitted to the IBPYP from the Early Years up till PYP 5 (Nursery-PYP 5). The school is a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP), offering MYP 1-3 (Grade 6-8).up to Class 10 (MYP 1 – MYP 5).

Admission Procedure

The admissions process is transparent and clearly explained to all parents at the time of registration. Moreover, the school’s age chart and the fee structure for the respective programmes is disclosed to all interested applicants. Admission procedure for all programmes remains the same. Once the parent/applicant has understood the admissions procedure, appeared for the general testing and paid the fee voucher, a letter of acceptance and the welcome pack is handed over to the parents/legal guardians.

Assessments are conducted as per grade level.

Students enrolling into Early Years are not required to appear for any testing. Parent/legal guardian interview with the admissions team is sufficient.Assessments allow us to ensure the placement of a child in the correct grade level.

Any child who fails the assessment is admitted with the undertaking that they will be assessed again after a mutually agreed period of time and they may be relocated to a different class level that will not put undue pressure on the child.

As per the IBCC requirements, all students holding a Pakistani nationality or residing in Pakistan for a period of more than three years are required to appear for Cambridge Board examinations in O levels Islamiyat & Pakistan Studies.

Admission Process

01

  • Registration process, programme details and fee structure are shared. The admissions office schedules a date for the assessment and parent/legal guardian interview and the child.

03

  • Acceptance offer is communicated with the parent/legal guardians
  • Fee voucher is issued
